Protect video content... (URGENT!!)
Hi I am setting up a site where users can purchase videos and am looking for the best way to protect them. I would like to store all of the videos outside of the public_html folder so they can't be directly downloaded. All videos are encoded in H264 MP4. I am not sure if its possible but I would like to have a php script check that the member logged in has purchased the video he is trying to watch before starting the stream. I do have flash media server installed on the server, no idea if that would help or not. Would prefer not to use it. Please let me know how you would proceed on my PMB with the task and I will choose the idea that sounds the best.
